Marble is a metamorphic rock resulting from regional or rarely contact metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, either limestone or dolostone, or metamorphism of older marble. This metamorphic process causes a complete recrystallization of the original rock into an interlocking mosaic of calcite, aragonite and/or dolomite crystals.
Granite is widely acknowledged as the strongest of all natural stones has recently become popular for use in the kitchen design industry as an alternative to marble. Highly resistant to weathering, it is also a choice stone in the building of monuments. A crystalline igneous rock that consists largely of alkali feldspar (typically perthitic microcline or orthoclase), quartz, and plagioclase (commonly calcic albite or oligoclase).
Bidasar Stone is a sand stone mainly found in India. It is available as Blocks, Slabs (Random) and Tiles. These are used at a large scale for various interior-designing purposes due to their fireproof nature and low maintenance cost. This stone finds applications in Cladding, Exteriors, Floorings and Interiors. It is mainly available with natural finishes.
A clastic sedimentary rock comprising an aggregate of sand-sized (0.06–2.0-mm) fragments of minerals, rocks, or fossils held together by a mineral cement. Sandstone forms when sand is buried under successive layers of sediment. During burial the sand is compacted, and a binding agent such as quartz, calcite, or iron oxide is precipitated from ground water which moves through passageways between grains.
